J.J. McCarthy Early Life

McCarthy, who was born in La Grange Park, Illinois on January 20 2003 went to Nazareth Academy for school. However, he had to switch schools and attend IMG Academy due, to the cancellation of Nazareth’s football season in 2020 caused by COVID-19.

It was clear from an age that McCarthy possessed athleticism and deep love, for football. He began playing organized youth football when he was six years old developing his throwing skills and showcasing his leadership abilities.
