Legendary newscaster Wolf Blitzer has been married to Lynn Greenfield almost as long as he has been in journalism, making their marriage legendary too. The longtime lovers are just one year away from celebrating their golden jubilee as husband and wife.
Greenfield's husband has had a long-running career in Journalism that has seen him work for various news agencies since the early 1970s. Although he holds American nationality, he was born in Augsburg, Germany, on March 22, 1948. His family moved to the United States while he was still young and settled in Buffalo, NY.
Despite being married to one of the most popular news anchors in the country, Greenfield generally keeps a low profile; hence not much is known about her. Nonetheless, some interesting information about Mrs. Blitzer is public knowledge.

Lynn Blitzer Has Been Married to Wolf Blitzer for Almost 50 Years
Greenfield and Blitzer will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next year, an astonishing achievement by any standard. The couple married in 1973, around the same time Blitzer began establishing himself as a journalist.
Although married to a popular figure in Wolf Blitzer, Lynn Greenfield keeps well away from the spotlight. Still, she occasionally makes public appearances alongside her husband.
Greenfield and her husband reside in a two-storied in Bethesda, Maryland. Despite the big house, the couple did not fill it up with their kids as they only had one child throughout their marriage.

Lynn Greenfield Is the Brainchild behind Her Husband's Eccentric Wardrobe
Along with anchors such as Tucker Carlson, Wolf Blitzer is one of the most recognizable faces in the television news industry thanks to his distinctive look that he seems to have maintained for as long as he has been on TV. Blitzer's beard is arguably the most noticeable of all. He claims he has kept it for more than 30 years.
Still, he admitted viewers are very much interested in what reporters were while on TV. There have been a lot of comments about his tie choices as he frequently spots a distinctive tie. When asked how he decided which tie to wear or buy, he credited his wife, who works as a personal shopper.
Greenfield works as a professional shopper at Saks, and her husband is not her only client. Other clients include Beth Dozoretz, a well-known philanthropist and Democratic activist. Dozoretz mentioned that Greenfield helps her with her clothing choices at the start of each season.
